Laura Shutt, Secondary Breast Cancer Patient shares,
“These 3 incredibly beautiful children are running a 1K race in Sefton Park to raise money for a charity close to our hearts.
The Fighting to be Heard Foundation is a new charity set up by ladies with secondary breast cancer and aims to support other women/men going through the same thing. They will offer support both financially, socially, and emotionally.
They are a lifeline to many women throughout the UK.
I myself was diagnosed with Breast cancer aged 33 and then Secondary breast cancer aged 36. Many of the ladies in this group have given me support this past year, listened to me, given advice and now it’s my turn to help give back.
I say my turn…. my daughter Charlotte (aged 3) Nephew Woody (aged 6), and my Niece Olivia (aged 11) will all be completing the race Sunday, 7th May, in Liverpool Sefton Park, with our family there to cheer them on.
